These courses are suitable for both primary and secondary colleagues. Some comments from delegates

Scratch is a visual programming language developed by Massachusetts Institute of Technology, that can be freely downloaded and used. It is very flexible and can be used at both simple and more advanced levels. Pupils are introduced to key programming principles, such as “sequence, selection and repetition”, but because programs are put together visually by dragging-and-dropping, the complexities of using a conventional programming language are by-passed. It is an excellent tool for delivering many aspects of the new computing curriculum, in both primary and secondary schools.
